The Dragonfly Gallery
The Dragonfly Gallery and Visitor Centre is one of the many local attractions that make Wayland unique and distinctive. Owned and managed by the Wayland Partnership, it is a part of the Wayland House complex and is well situated in Watton High Street.
It is the home of the Visitor Centre but its main function is as an art gallery. It is the only community owned gallery in the area and supports artists and craftspeople from across East Anglia, where a wide range of exhibitions are mounted throughout the year. Artists appreciate the gallery for its intimate and friendly atmosphere and its exceptional lighting. Mixed media collections, solo shows, photography, art textiles, quilts and ceramics have all been included and there is an exhibition in most months of the year.
We also have wonderful Norfolk Crafters who need an outlet for their work. There are jewellers, wood turners, silver and pewter smiths, fabric box makers, pyrography, glass designers and a wonderfully diverse range of greeting cards. This is a unique and ever changing aspect of the Gallery which means that there is always something for visitors to the Gallery to enjoy. Treat your family and friends or even yourself to a unique gift.
Opening hours for the Dragonfly Gallery are as follows:
March-December - Monday to Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm, Saturday 10.00am – 1.00pm, Closed Sunday.
Jan-February - Closed.
