Welcome to The Wayland Dragonfly Gallery
The Dragonfly Gallery and Visitor Centre is one of the many local attractions that make Wayland unique and distinctive. Owned and managed by community charity the Wayland Partnership, the gallery is a part of Wayland House and situated in Watton High Street.
We love to host exhibitions!
Since we established in 1999 we have undergone a variety of projects and achievements. Based at Wayland House in Watton, our hub has fantastic staff an volunteers to support our communities
Let's talk arts and crafts
Join us every Wednesday morning, between 10am and 1pm for our Swap Shop. We enjoy a large, welcoming space in the Dragonfly Gallery, run by our lovely Swap Shop volunteers.
Sensory garden
Have you visited our Sensory Garden yet? It is located in between the Dragonfly Gallery and Watton Library. Our Wayland Partnership charity were thrilled when we received £22,500 worth of funding from the Postcode Local Trust, Screwfix Foundation as well as Tesco!
With recycling and reduced incomes in mind, we are keen to develop workshops and exhibitions which focus much more on re-using items for crafting – visible mending (putting a decorative patch or appliqué on a damaged garment for example) or re-purposing unwanted garments, or making artwork from scraps, are just some of the many ideas.
We have a bank of donated sewing machines, all PAT tested, which we are keen to make more available. So watch out for our ads for new workshops or visit our new exhibitions to gain inspiration.
